Monarchs 2026/27 winter schedule of events can now be confirmed - with lots to look forward to throughout the closed season. Get the dates in your diary now!
Monarchs fans are set to enjoy a fantastic series of winter events offering the chance to meet up with their friends and enjoy all things speedway!
First up is the Monarch of the Season Awards Dinner on Saturday 31st October at the Village Hotel in Edinburgh. Doors open at 6:30pm with dinner served at 7pm.
Sit down for a top class three-course dinner amongst our resident speedway stars - you could share a table with one of the 2026 team!
Monarchs presentation duo of John McGillivray and Liam Rudden will then bring you the best of 2026 with the glitzy Monarch of the Season Awards, with an enjoyable sprinkling of speeches from key personalities, before the DJ takes over to send off the season in style until 1am.

2026 Highlights Show - Part 1 and 2
Enjoy the best of the 2026 season on the big screen with the Highlights Show! The action is split across two evenings, with Part 1 set for Friday 13th November at 7:30pm followed by Part 2 on Friday 19th February 2027 at 7:30pm.
Featuring fantastic racing, interviews, a raffle, and the latest news from the Monarchs promotion, these are always enjoyable events.
New for this year - both shows move to a new venue at Boroughmuir Rugby Clubhouse, Meggetland Wynd, EH14 1XN, Edinburgh.
This new venue will offer a bar serving snacks and drinks throughout the show, plus multi-screen viewing around the room ensuring you have a great view of the action.
There will be traditional theatre-style seating as well as more informal seating around the bar area offering a more social setting than in recent years.
The bar will remain open after the show so you can hang around to catch up with your speedway friends.
2027 Monarchs Burns Supper
Kick off 2027 with the Monarchs Burns Supper on Saturday 23rd January! Arrival is 6:30pm with dinner served at 7pm also at Boroughmuir Rugby Clubhouse in Edinburgh.
This event enjoyed a hugely successful reinvention in 2026 and is back bigger, and better again in 2027.
Enjoy a traditional three-course Burns Supper complemented by excellent speedway-themed, and Burns-inspired, entertainment before presenter Scott Wilson welcomes a speedway celebrity for an enthralling interview. The special celebrity guest will be announced soon.
