Aaron Fox has been rightly the talk of the track after his great efforts last night. He was DDS Monarch of the Match last night and he’s in the Evening News headlines. In return, Aaron sent us this message to thank all those who have helped him replace his kevlars which were ruined after his crash.

It was another rock-solid display from the Scotwaste Monarchs tonight in beating Newcastle 57-38, the team's 13th successive victory, and a particularly courageous display by Aaron Fox to score 7, his highest score, just 7 days after suffering a severe gash to his leg.

Edinburgh started this match with two 5-1s and there was never much doubt that they would record their 13th successive victory of the season.

Scotwaste Monarchs defeated Newcastle by 57 to 38 at Armadale on Friday evening.

Tonight's meeting at Armadale sees the start of a new era at the stadium. In the past forty hours the ownership of the stadium has changed hands and the Cochrane family are now in charge.

The visitors to Armadale this Friday are the Newcastle Diamonds who are both attractive and dangerous opponents who could seriously threaten the Monarchs twelve-match unbeaten record, led by their newly signed British Elite League star, Danny King.
