Although it is still almost a fortnight till the tapes go up at Armadale for the 2019 season matches are starting to take place across the country with 2 of the Staggs Bar Monarchs in action on Saturday night.

There is just one week to go until the launch of the 2019 season for Staggs Bar Monarchs.

Most people would love an Aussie winter but in the case of Justin Sedgmen, he's glad it's over and is much happier now he is back in the UK. He is already picking up bookings over here to get himself in trim for the Armadale opening.

The days are now counting down quickly to the start of the new speedway season at Armadale Stadium and the first opportunity to see the riders in action will be on Friday 5th April.

Ricky Wells is back for his 3rd season in the Blue and Gold of the Staggs Bar Monarchs and is fit and raring to go after his quietest winter in as long as he can remember.

As the 2019 season moves closer a call is out to all current track staff members.

Joel Andersson had a season of progress with the Staggs Bar Monarchs last season after a slow start, but he finished the season with a foot injury and missed the closing matches. He can't wait to get back to Armadale and was back on a bike recently.
